Abstract: In this release we have fixed a bug when setting a date value via a custom date field.

Release Notes:

• When adding a custom date field to a reporter via a value dataset (sate is set or left empty in workflow action window) the reporter was missing the right formation for the September months, this has now been fixed.

Abstract: Possibility to generate Excel workbook (.xlsx) using saved search- and SuiteQL-based datasets.

• Generate Excel workbook (.xlsx) documents using saved search- and SuiteQL-based datasets.

• New workflow action "Reporter Create EXCEL WA" that can be used in any workflow to generate excel files.

• Workflow parameters available for new workflow action:

  • Attach to current record (files)

  • Layout fields

  • Override folder

  • Save file in field

  • Available without login

• Improved message handling in user interface including using Reporter logo as loading icon.

• Filter value dataset fields of type list/record. For example useful when listing Employees and only want employees marked as Sales reps.

• New copy- and delete functionality.

• Added role validation in dahboard portlet mode.

• Added support for additional attachments in emails sent with Reporter (workflow action).

• Added new preconfigured dataset, "Features in Effect", listing all features that are either active or inactive in your account. Could be used to control behavior in reports based on the features enabled.

Abstract: Possibility to publish layouts on the user dashboard.

Release Notes:

• Added new custom records (Reporter Portlet Configuration, Reporter Portlet User, Reporter Portlet View) as well as new portlet script Reporter Dashboard PDF Viewer to allow publication of layouts on dashboard.

• Added field to Reporter Layout Builder custom record:

  • Features. Multi-select field used to add / remove pre-defined datasets. In addition, the option Optimization Load is an alternative that potentially could shorten the loading time when rendering PDFs.

  • Color 1 - 6. It is now possible to include hex codes stored in these fields to control CSS/HTML in the layout.

• In workflow action, it is now possible to include additional files / attachments when emailing Reporter-generated PDFs.

Abstract: Value fields (from Reporter Dataset records) can now be hidden in the Order Printout Form. If layout is not using the Record dataset, the workflow action for the Order Printout form will give access to fields on the current record. Useful for populating Layout parameter fields for example.

Release Notes:

• Added field to Reporter Dataset custom record:

  • Hide Value Field (custrecord_sclds_hide_valuefield) - Type: Check Box

  • When ticked on the datasaet, the value field will not be displayed in Order Printout form (workflow action only).

• In workflow action, it is now possible to set layout fields for Reporter Layout Builder records that do not have a Record dataset. This was previously a limitation and the Record dataset typ was required to be able to access fields and values from the current record in workflow.

Abstract: Hotfix to improve error handling and fix Make copy function in Reporter Layout Builder record.
